Strategy-Focused Organisation
The Balanced Scorecard Delivers Results
The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept was created by Drs. Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton in 1992, and has been implemented in thousands of organisations worldwide. The Balanced Scorecard allows organisations to implement strategy rapidly and effectively by intergrating the measurement system with the management system. Based on the simple premise that measurement motivates, the Balanced Scorecard has been integral to the success of thousands of organisations across the world. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) puts strategy at the centre of the management process, and through it thousands of organisations have achieved breakthrough performance results by becoming a Strategy-Focused Organisation.
The Strategy Focused Organisation (SFO) Model
The Strategy Focused Organisation (SFO) model was created by Drs. Kaplan and Norton co-founders of Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, now a division of Palladium to make strategy a continuous process owned by the entire enterprise, from top management to front-line employees. The model represents the collective know-how derived from twelve years of research into 250 organisations that have implemented the Balanced Scorecard effectively. The five principles illustrate how the Balanced Scorecard is used to create a strategy execution framework that keeps strategy at the centre of key management processes and systems.
Our Executive Briefings, Forums and How-To Training Seminars map to the SFO model providing you with a training curriculum, that enables you to become a best-in-class Strategy-Focused Organisation.
